Course Outline

The MSB course conforms to the standards set by the MTO – Approved BDE course providers.

This course is being offered to all students from sixteen (16) years of age and older.

Aim of the Course

The goal of driver education is to instill a more responsible attitude in the student. We feel that is absolutely necessary for the safe operation of a motor vehicle. This responsibility includes courteous, predictable and artful.

In Car Lessons

Ten (10) hours in-car lessons are given for standard training and ten hours of automatic training. These lessons are given for standard training under the strict direction of provincial government qualified instructors.

Temporary Permit

Students must have a valid G1 permit (or greater) in order to commence the in car portion of the program.

Course Fee

The course fee is $591.60 (plus tax) payable on registration. The fee covers 30 hours of online course. 10 hours of In-car training in an automatic transmission vehicle is also provided. A receipt for income tax purposes will be provided upon full payment.

The road test is an additional optional fee, please enquire for more information. This cost is for the use of the car for the test. Out of city tests are $250.00 (plus tax).
